RUSSIAN BLOOD IS ALSO RED

With the gory, dark images of Russo- Ukrainian war are unfolding before our eyes everyday, it is vey easy to blame Russia for it without realizing that it is , at the end of the day is a war & wars are like this. What really amazes me is the fact that the narrative all over the west is so biased that the most Fundamental question is getting drowned in a sea of noises condemning Russia. Is any one asking why Russia invaded Ukraine??

yes & no.

Yes because the answer was readymade and far more appealing & powerful to sway & arouse the anger of common masses of the west. That Putin is a megalomaniac imperialist dictator whose maddening lust for territory resulted in current brutal war.

& no because, some people CHOSE to give the answer which suited them & there interests.

The fact is, that there was a tacit understanding between the west & the Russia that no more east word expansion of NATO is to be carried out by the west & Russia on it’s part will maintain peace & give space to it’s neighbors who shared it’s common past. But, look what has happened, Sensing the that She is not that big a power in economic terms & no where near the west particularly USA, the west has backtracked on it’s “ gentleman’s agreement” & continued with it’s designs to undermine Russia’s perceived security interests & sensibilities. No one is talking about this REAL REASON.

Putin is now painted with a black brush but we will be immature to surmise that had there been someone else in his shoes, the outcome would have been different. It is in Russian interest to stop the circle of influence of west in it’s neibourhood from expanding( for various reasons outside the scope of present discussion) so who so ever is at the helm of affairs in Russia would have taken the exact same decision.

Our hearts & prayers are with the people of Ukraine who are facing the full brunt of the war. How unfortunate it is , that a nation has become a pawn between the “new cold war” between two super powers.

No country in this modern interlinked globalized world, would risk the unimaginably difficult decision of going to war with another nation. It is not that Russians are not aware of this, it is just that stakes for their national security are way to high for them to overlook hence the bloody war were Russian blood is also being shed.
